I have no explanation of why I am having tears in my eyes right now and why I am unable to stop them. It feels as if my whole childhood memories of listening to music have been snatched away with a snap of fingers.
It feels as if all those hundreds of songs are immediately going on in my head with a span of few seconds.
Those childhood days when all the songs that I used to hear, most of them were sung by you, especially songs like Kya Mujhe Pyaar Hai, Tu Hi Meri Shab Hai, Bas Ek Pal, Teri Yaadon Mein, Alvida, etc. and the list goes on which are still evergreen. In fact, I hear them even today.
But now, I wonder how I will be able to tackle my emotions while listening to these songs knowing that you are no longer with us. You are someone who gave voice to our emotions of love.
It still doesn’t matter whether you wrote those songs or not because they are sung by you and that’s what make them all very special.
Just know that you will be remembered forever.
Your voice has certainly touched million souls including a little soul of mine as well.
May your soul rest in peace.
